Why this initiative?
This initiative is born partly out of dissatisfaction, partly
out of concern. Of course this asks for an explanation.
The white Miniature is relatively a "young" variety.
There are only few people (breeders) who are seriously
involved in breeding this variety.
Because the quality population is relatively low and there is
much affinity between excellent parent dogs, it is difficult to
improve this variety. All breeders hold on to their
"bloodlines" and that's why they stand by themselves.
Dissatisfaction because of the fact that there are many judges
who do not appreciate the quality of the whites, mostly
because they don't know much of the improvement and development of this variety.
There are even -and this the writer of this article has
experienced- judges who do not accept this variety and even
do not want to judge them at all.
This initiative is targeted for the lovers, breeders and
judges to bring them together in order to improve the quality
in the
future. That is why we want you all to come to the
meeting. Please do.
The
"Initiative for white Miniature Schnauzer“ is not a club.
We
are a couple of friends and breeders of the whites worldwide.
We
are a community of international friends and breeders.
We
are on a international base to improve the breed of the whites
and work together with other breeders in the Initiative.
We
follow the FCI Standard for Miniature Schnauzer.
Members
ever do their best for the breed of the whites.
We
are standing for breeding with healthy dogs.
